OUR SERVICES

 

TRIPP Foundation has assembled a team to coordinate facets of medical, social work, advocacy, financial support and service coordination to assist families of children with kidney disease in meeting their needs in culturally sensitive, healthy and supportive ways.

TRIPP Foundation will provide charitable and educational opportunities for families by meeting the following purposes:

​
  • Provide funds for children with kidney disease to assist their families with the financial burden, cost of care and end of life expenses. Such funds will be directed primarily to those families receiving services through the University of Iowa Children’s Hospitals and Clinics.

  • Coordinate services using resources identified within the child’s community and surrounding area.

  • Assist in crisis planning by helping families develop an individualized plan of action in preparation for potentially emergent medical and other situations.

  • Provide both individual and group support for parents, siblings and children suffering from kidney disease, by facilitating support group activities and individual mentoring programs.

  • Provide advocacy for individual or groups of children suffering from kidney disease, and their families, as a whole, in regard to violations of client rights, continuity of service, plan of care, service delivery/ practice, coordination of service and other areas of need identified by a child, their family or members of the Board of Directors.
